  • Office supplies
  • Books
  • Movies
  • Boat Rides
  • Music
  • Falling in love

2) Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

CC: I’ve always wanted to be a writer.  I’ve had many other jobs in my life, waitress, desk clerk, customer service in a call center and IT manager, but in my heart writing is always what I wanted to be doing.  I used to write in high school, for the school paper and the yearbook, as well as our small town local newspaper, but stopped when I hit my twenties.  I started again in 2013 with fanfiction, using it to have fun and remember the incredible feeling of telling a story that got people excited and involved in the storyline.  Before long, I wanted to build my own worlds, and create my own characters instead of playing with someone else’s. I’m happiest when I am telling a story. I live in Virginia, and have all my life.  I like to travel, and have been all up and down the eastern seaboard, but never west.  I still want to go west someday.

3) What Inspired You to Write This Book

CC:  Delicious is about a lot things.  It’s about how we see ourselves, and how important other people’s perceptions are to that.  It’s about making tough choices, and fighting for what you believe in. It’s about standing up and believing in yourself when it feels like no one else is on your side.  It’s about love conquering all.  It’s about finding home in your own heart, and in the heart of another.  I was inspired to write this book because I believe all those things are important, and I wanted to share them.

4) List (5) things you’ll never do again.

  • Use a ceramic knife (I’m too clumsy and they are VERY sharp.)
  • Go to Myrtle Beach, SC. (Worst break-up EVER.)
  • Be seduced by a fast talking movie line throwing brown eyed sexy man. (See previous)
  • Drink Jim Beam (See previous again. Too much JB in one sitting = no JB ever again.)
  • Back up without looking at least three times. (Maybe four)

5) What project are you working on now?

CC:  Tony’s story, the next in Chimera Club Stories, tentatively planned for January 2018 release.

6) Is anything in your book based on real life experiences or purely all imagination?

CC:  Oh, yeah.  I’m in there. Flashes that spark and fade as the experience of what really happened turns into what I wish had happened.  No character is me, but there is a little me in all of them.

Thank you, Hazel and Craves the Angst, for letting me spend time with you here today! It’s been wonderful to share with you and your readers! Before I go, there’s just one more thing I’d let to let everyone know about.

A couple of weeks ago, in a FB group that I am part of, I saw a call go out for a solider about to be deployed who was asking for books to take with them.  I thought this was an amazing idea, and I made a page on my website to offer my Chimera Club Stories FREE to any US military personnel who would like to read some sweet steamy romances. If you know a solider about to be deployed, they can contact me here. I can provide any format of e-book and would love to give them my humble thanks and appreciation for their service!
